BizBestie, including The 2:15 Project community feature, is operated by SH, based in Canada.
We collect the information you provide when you join — your name, email, location, what you do as an entrepreneur, your compatibility quiz answers, and anything you post in the community — so we can create your account, generate your matches, and show your profile and posts to other members. We also collect basic technical data (like IP address) to keep the platform secure.
Your quiz answers are compared against other members' to generate a compatibility score and explanation. Your profile is visible to the members you're matched with and, depending on your settings, the wider community.
Before your quiz answers are used for matching, you must actively check a box confirming your consent. This isn't implied just by creating an account. You can withdraw consent at any time, though doing so means we can no longer match you with other members.
A real photo is optional. If you skip it, we show your initials instead. Any photo you upload should be genuine and appropriate — it's visible to other members.
We don't sell your information. We share it only with the service providers that help us run the platform (like our hosting and database provider), with other members (limited to what you choose to share), or where required by law.
Member data is stored with our hosting provider, Supabase, in their Americas East (Ohio, US — region us-east-2) data center, located outside Canada. By using BizBestie, you consent to this transfer.
Under Canadian privacy law (PIPEDA), you can access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information, and withdraw consent at any time. To do so, contact us at bizbestiessupport@gmail.com.
We keep your information while your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove your personal information within a reasonable timeframe, except where we're required to retain it for legal or safety reasons.
BizBestie is for entrepreneurs 18 and older. You confirm this with a checkbox at signup.
We use reasonable technical measures, including encryption in transit, to protect your information. No system is completely secure.
We may update this policy from time to time and will notify members of material changes.
